Rounds Talks Corn Ethanol at EPW Hearing
The corn ethanol industry in South Dakota employs tens of thousands of South Dakotans and is a pillar of our state’s economy. As the market for ethanol increases, the market for corn will grow, and this means more jobs and increased revenue for corn farmers – many of whom work on their own family owned farms. WATCH my questioning today at an EPW hearing on extending the Reid vapor pressure (RVP) waiver to ethanol blends above 10 percent. This would increase market access opportunities for higher blends of ethanol.
